Repeating Cruise Comments:
Justification/Comments: This is the 2nd installment of the SEEPS cruise series. The first cruise took place during July 2007, with the Atlantis and Alvin. This worked well for our scientific needs and we sould like to again use the Alvin for the second installment of the cruise.

NSF approved this cruise for 10 science days. We would like to request 2 additional days (thus the reason No is checked above) to make up for the loss of bottom time associated with the switch from Jason to Alvin.

This is part of a CAREER project and accomodating the student schedules is important for success of the educational component of the cruise. While early summer 2009 is optimal timing, thinkgs can be moved on my end with sufficient advance warning (eg, my teaching schedule needs to be changed etc...).
