Instrumentation Comments: |
We request the use of the IMI-30 from the HMRG shared-use pool. The IMI-30 requires 4 shipboard operators, which are included in our estimated science party size. Operation of the IMI-30 requires a deep-sea armored fiber-optic cable. We also request the use of the WHOI TowCam, which is reflected by a line item in the proposal budget. The TowCam can be operated from the Hydro winch or .680 fiber-optic cable. |
