Justification/Comments: May to June 2010 is when the NOAA P3 and Twin Otter and CIRPAS Twin Otter aircraft will be operational in the study area. It is also the time period for ground sites to be operational.

Global-class vessel with large forward deck (e.g. THOMPSON, REVELLE, or ATLANTIS) is required to stage mission load and conduct clean atmospheric chemistry at sea while avoiding contamination from the ship. Special modifications for 2008 version of project on KNORR could potentially be adapted to MELVILLE as well.
