Repeating Cruise: |
Yes |
Dates To Avoid: |
Mooring servicing in spring and fall, timed for weather and biofouling cycle |
Number of Repeating Cruises: |
16 |
Repeating Interval: |
every 6 months |
Repeating Cruise Comments: |
Due to deck space, cruise will require two legs, 9 days and 12, with one port day between. Recover, redeploy, refresh power systems and sensors every 6 months. |
Justification/Comments: |
Spring and fall cruises to meet requirement to refresh power and sensors every 6 months, deal with biofouling. Deck payload when deploying and servicing moorings requires large UNOLS vessel, such as Knorr. |
