  Notes:   (28 Sept) ECS CRUISE FORMALLY CANCELLED BY PI. Langseth now in stand down/maintenance period in preparation for up-coming shipyard. Maintenance period will extend through EOY & into 2010.

(19 Sept) Amended return date to Astoria for Toomey to 19th September.

(24 August) Amended sail date of Toomey from 21st to 22nd August due to delay in getting Canadian celarance documents.

(21 July) Amended schedule to reflect new end date of TAIGER leg #4 & subsequent new start date for Toomey. Added 5 science days to Toomey per NSF agreement. Added ECS project after Toomey.

(17 June) Amended ECS project dates per agreement with DoS representative. NB - There may be an ECS extension (extra leg) of about 1 week for Canada added post the US DoS/NOAA ECS leg, pending discussions.

(28 May) Added ECS projects (pending), post-Toomey.

(27 March) 3 days added to Toomey.

(16 March) Amended TAIGER legs. 3 days shifted from leg #2 to leg #1 to avoid CPC 3d project conflict. 1 day added to leg #3 (OBS revcovery).

(8 Jan) Amended Pago Pago arrival & departure dates.

(17 Dec) Langseth sailed on 16 Dec. Dates amended & set.

(15 Dec) SAILING DATE NOW SET FOR TUESDAY, 16 DEC. Cruise dates adjusted accordingly.

(9 Dec) Adjusted schedule per latest projected departure of MGL, 14 Dec. Showing fuel stop in Pago Pago. MGL is "in transit" at start of year 2009.

(17 Sep) Added 5 days to Wiens per NSF agreement. Op days total = 250 (196 NSF & 54 TAIGER)

(31 June) Added Bohnenstiehl prior to Wiens. Adjusted sail date from Astoria to Tonga. Moved Taiwan OBS recovery leg from end of program (4th leg) to leg #3 (OBSIP request).

(25 June) Added 7 day OBS recovery leg to TAIGER program.

(16 May) Shortened maintenance period before Toomey to 10 days. Moved Toomey start up accordingly.

(5 May) Changed status from 'draft' to 'LOI'. This is the same schedule that had been circulated after the 1st OBSIP phone call some weeks back.

(18 Apr) Wiens - TAIGER - Toomey. Transit to Wiens begins @ end of 2008. First leg of TAIGER begins mid-March. Toomey starts 10 August.
