  Notes:   Sept. 29th, 2009: Schedules for next year (2010) for the UNOLS Global Class Ships have been driven by several major events and have resulted in significant changes to the plans for the end of CY-2009. As a result, the R/V Thompson was assigned to a set of cruises in the Southern Ocean near Chile and the year-end transit to the Southern Ocean reflects those changed commitments.
