Summary of Field Work: |
Year-1: Initial testing of tow-body will be performed during a series of 1 or 2 day legs on the R/V Gordon Sproul. A complete system test will be performed in the San Diego Trough during a 2-day R/V Sproul deployment cruise leg. OSG and OBP units will be deployed independently form the ship, where real-time communication, data transmission quality, and seismic data fidelity can be monitored and assessed. |

Initial tow-body testing will be performed near shore on the R/V Gordon Sproul on a series of initial near shore cruise (3-days). |
