  Notes:   27 Dec 10: Published final 2010 schedule including addition of 3-day HOT cruise which was necessary when R/V K'oK experienced a major engineering casualty. 2-days of planned EXITS cruise moved to R/V KM to enable TGT to conduct the HOT cruise. Also, updated TGT departure date from Seattle in Nov due to lock & bridge closures.

17 Aug 10: TN256...Academic cruise is 12 days from 23 Oct - 3 Nov and encompasses 7 legs. All legs will depart out of the Port of Seattle except for Leg 1 which will depart from the UW's dock.

06 Aug 10: TN254...Ship will depart Astoria morning of 09 Sep to arrive Esquimalt, BC morning of 10 Sep.

19 Jul 10: TN253...Demobe port has been changed from Newport to Astoria to accommodate offload of WHOI's Jason. This also means that the ship will be departing from Astoria directly for Victoria, BC Canada.

28 Jun 10: TN254...Dr. Mari Best informed UW that NEPTUNE Canada would like to extend the use of the TGT by an additional 7 days.

16 Jun 10: TN252...There will be a mid-cruise stop on 7 Aug 10 in Newport, OR at OSU's facility for personnel and equipment transfers.

NEW SCHEDULE resulting from delay in Chile after Z-Drive casualty. COMPRESSION OF IN PORT DAYS REQUIRED TO PRESERVE SCIENCE FIELD DAYS AT SEA AND TO COMPLETE THE JUAN DE FUCA WORK WITHIN THE ACCEPTABLE WEATHER WINDOW.

May 3, 2010: adjust dates for November/December cruise near Hawaii.

May 7, 2010: finalize dates of end-of-year academic cruise.

Notes: 26 Aug 2010: This entire cruise was canceled due to z-drive casualty and repair. This was considered "Leg One". "Leg Two's" mobe port was changed from Puerto Montt to Punta Arenas. The original plan was the following: Combined Academic Cruise (on-board Chief Scientist R. Keil) and Leg 1 of Yvon Lewis cruise. (Leg 2 follows.) Mobe in Punta Arenas: These would be 8, 9, 10 March. 3 days (divided two to Shari's program and one to UW Academic.) Leg 1: Depart Punta Arenas on 11 March at 08:00. commence operations. Finish operations to arrive in Puerto Montt at about mid-day on 19 March. 9 days. De-Mobe in Puerto Montt: 20, 21 March. 2 days (divided one each for each program) Fuel and re-provision as necessary. Leg 2: Depart Puerto Montt on 22 March at 08:00. (May actually sail in the evening of the 21st, if that helps calculated transit.) Arrive Seattle on 17 April at about mid-day. Enter Customs. 27 days. De-Mobe in Seattle: 18 April (home port not a charge port day under UNOLS rules.)
