Summary of Field Work: |
We will be deploying 30 OBS and 7 seafloor geodesy instruments in 2007 (and recovering them in 2008). We require a ship with a modern multibeam system (including backscatter) and sufficient room for all of the OBS and geodesy instruments. DP is desirable, but not required. A gravimeter is desireable.
A separate cruise on Langseth is required to shoot to active OBS instruments |

Optimum Start Date:

Dates to Avoid: |
This cruise is to recover OBSs after they have been deployed for "one year". Based on battery and science concerns, one year means 11-15 months after deployment. Deployment is expected to occur around late december 2007 to early January of 2008. |
