Summary of Field Work: |
A one day cruise to the outer shelf off San Diego will demonstrate use of oceanographic equipment for biological studies including CTD and Rosette, Optical Plankton Counter, Multicorer, Trawl and Plankton nets. We hope to use the course cruises to begin annual monitoring of water and benthos in this region. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
Multicorer, CTD and Rosette (possibly left from LTER or CalCOFI cruise), Otter Trawl, 1 m plankton or 60 cm bongo net, neuston net |
Summary of other requirements and comments: |
running seawater, multibeam if available |
