Summary of Field Work: |
Upon arriving at the DART staation 52402, the team will begin buoy operation. Buoy operations will consist of recovering the existing BPR and bringing it on deck. A new buoy and mooring will be deployed at the station (water depth is 5875 meters) and then the BPR will be redeployed. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
Capstan, winch, crane and deck hands for buoy operations. Multi-beam for bathmetry and ADCP for surface currents. |
