Summary of Field Work: |
The project will sample biological and chemical properties of the Delaware estuary. The cruise work will consist of two cruises per year, each lasting 5 days. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
The cruises will require a CTD and rad van for radioactive work. |

Description of Repeating cruise requirements: |
The goal is to do a transect of the Delaware Bay over three days during summer and winter. We then will do a two day diel experiment at the mouth of the bay
Each cruise should last five days. So, the total request is for 5 X 2 = 10 days per each year of the project.
One Mob day is requested for setting up equipment before the cruise. |
Justification/Explanation for ship choice, dates,
conflicts, number of days & multi-ship operations: |
The Sharp is an obvious choice for work in the Delaware Bay. We are flexible about the exact dates. Our main goal is to have two cruises that differ greatly in sunlight, i.e. summer and winter. |
