Summary of Field Work: |
One field program Dec 2014_March 2015 timeframe 53 days RV Revelle
Experiment site: East Tasman Slope, the east coast of Tasmania |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
deployment capability for ~12 McLane Profiler moorings: Revelle HDSS sonar system Dynamic Positioning for SIO Fast CTD repeated LADCP profiling (yo-yoing) glider recovery |
Summary of other requirements and comments: |
Detailed scheduling dependent on spring tides. Rough scheduling is flexible, hoping to maximize chances for good weather. Australian (CSIRO) participation is anticipated, however ship schedules are not established and ship time has yet to be formally committed. Schmitt Research Foundation ship participation a possibility. |
