Summary of Field Work: |
Start in Dutch Harbor, run west to 170oW, then south to 47oN, then east to near Station Papa, then deep into the Gulf of Alaska, with final station at margin. Disembark in Sitka. Sampling will be full water column at 30 stations with CTD/rosette. |

Cruise could go in reverse direction. Sitka appears to be the nearest town with a good airport for one end of the cruise. Dutch Harbor is near the other end of the cruise. |

With the cruise requested for summer 2013, I will ask potential collaborators to submit subsequent proposals in order to join the cruise and complement our planned measurements. I cannot be sure of science party size at this time. Tech required for CTD ops. |
