Summary of Field Work: |
Deployment and recovery of physical oceanographic instruments in the coastal waters of Georgia. Instruments will measure stratification and exchange through the Sapleo, Doboy and Altamaha Sounds and on the continental shelf at the 10 m isobath. Surveys of the Altamaha river plume and water samples for nutrients will also be collected. Spring/neap surveys will be carried out. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
Instruments needed include: CTD and Niskin water bottle sampler, ship board ADCP, flow through thermosalinograph, fume hood |
