Summary of Field Work: |
Pilot cruise for Vietnam program. Likely hydrographic surveys, bathymetric mapping and autonomous platform (floats, drifters, gliders) operations. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
Will require CTD/rosette, overboarding gear (A-frame, cranes, etc). Calibrated meteorological sensors, GPS and GPS heading reference. HDSS/ADCP. Modest winch capable of handling shallow (500 m max depth) subsurface moorings. |
