Description of Repeating cruise requirements: |
Schedule the cruise after ASIRI Leg-II (ONR funded project) |
Justification/Explanation for ship choice, dates,
conflicts, number of days & multi-ship operations: |
This is also part of ONR funded DRI ASIRI. This is the only UNLOS ship availabe in the area during the time period. Request starting port Colombo and returning port Colombo; the science party is mainly from NRL, and if we travel to a different country's port we will have visa issues, therfore return to Colombo is important. It is possible that a couple of Sri Lankan scientists from NARA may join the cruise. |
