Summary of Field Work: |
We request sea time with Atlantis/Alvin in 2016 for application of the mobile calibration chemical sensor systems in diffuse flow vent fluid at EPR 9°N. Six Alvin dives are requested for testing the mobile and stationary sensor/calibrator systems in diffuse flow hydrothermal fluids, while pH/redox probes would be deployed at nearby high temperature vents for studying in-situ chemical conditions at the deep reaction zone.. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
We are asking 6 Alvin dives, and also an elevator for deploying the instrument. |
