Summary of Field Work: |
The ASIRI project requests a series of three sets cruises in the Bay of Bengal. The first set of three back-to-back cruises successfully took place in Nov-Dec 2013. The second fieldwork season is scheduled on Revelle for July 2014. We are requesting a third block of time in the second half of 2015. |

Justification/Explanation for ship choice, dates,
conflicts, number of days & multi-ship operations: |
We have used Revelle for initial ASIRI fieldwork in the Bay of Bengal with great success. Assuming Revelle will still be in that part of the world, but Melville would also work well. |
