STR Management has moved to MFP

The US Academic Research Fleet is moving to Marine Facilities Planning (MFP) for scheduling initially and eventually cruise planning.

For all NEW or RESUBMITTED Projects/Ship Time Requests, go to https://mfp.us and create a new SME. Some STRs for projects starting in 2022 and beyond have already been moved to Marine Facilities Planning (mfp.us). Check your MFP Science Portal for any projects that might already be moved. If you need to make edits to projects that begin in 2022 and beyond, please contact mfp@unols.org for assistance. Be sure to indicate the Project and STR IDs that you would like to edit. conflicts, number of days & multi-ship operations:
We have used the RG Sproul many times to sample these sites in the past. The New Horizon would be an alternative. We require 3 days on station. Sproul schedules are 24-hour windows (full day, not partial day), so add one more day if we are scheduled with a ship that does not do 24-hour days. In sum, with Sproul if we depart at 0900 hrs and return by 0900 hours the next day, that is one day, not two.
