Summary of Field Work: |
Coring cruise in the New England Mud Patch area of the Atlantic south of Martha's Vineyard, MA. Primary objective is to obtain piston cores and vibracore data. Other supporting data may also be collected depending on schedule. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
Will need piston coring and vibracoring equipment and ship capable of collecting 30-40 foot cores. |
Summary of other requirements and comments: |
We are in discussion with USGS (woods hole) and UTIG (texas) to supply equipment and techs for piston and vibracoring, respectively. |
