Summary of Field Work: |
This ONR sponsored project will study the water mass processes in the Luzon Strait by the combined effects of the Kuroshio Current, eddies, internal waves, and air-sea interactions forced by the winter monsoon. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
The vessel must support 24 hour operations. Multibeam and seasoar capability is also required. A large winch, placed on the aft deck, will be used for trip-axis measurements. |
