Summary of Field Work: |
Study scattering from munitions on the seafloor using a bottom-mounted rail system. The ship will be placed in a four point more approximately a mile off shore in 60 ft of water.
Experiment will be 21 days in length from loading the first equipment at the Naval base in Panama City Florida to unloading the last equipment on the same dock. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
R/V Sharp with winch available for setting moorings. Similar to previous efforts. Captain Warrington of the R/V Sharp knows the details. |
