Summary of Field Work: |
6 days are requested for the URI Honors class cruise. Science party will consist of 12 URI undergrads, 2 graduate students and chief sci.
Periods spanning March break or Easter long weekend might be desirable from the point of view of minimizing the classes the students will miss. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
Science activities are somewhat TBD depending on who is chief sci.
We will likely mount the Big Eyes on the pilot house deck and the UCTD in the starboard quarter by the A frame (as done in CSI:Ocean Spring 2017). |
Summary of other requirements and comments: |
** Omand will be on mat leave during the specified window so we are exploring other GSO faculty that can be chief sci or postponing the cruise by 1 year.** We hope to decide on this ASAP |
