Summary of Field Work: |
We will be field testing a new methane sensor on three platforms (rosette, Sentry, and Jason) at the Guaymas Basin vent field. The sensor will be utilized for plume hunting and spatially mapping methane signatures. The sensor will be deployed using different platforms to fully determine its field capabilities. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
We will need a CTD/rosette, Sentry, and JASON. |
