Summary of Field Work: |
Maintenance cruise for the NSF-OOI Cabled Array, working at all Cabled Array sites - Oregon Shelf and Offshore, Southern Hydrate Ridge, Slope Base and Axial Seamount. The cruise will consist of turning junction boxes, instruments (~100), moorings and mooring components. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
Field work will require global class research ship, the ROV Jason, and OOI winches. CTD water sampling will be required for instrument verification. In general, field work will be similar to past years. Significant deck space required, room for Cabled Array van, EM302. |
