Summary of Field Work: |
This project will attempt to characterize springtime radiatively driven convection in a large freshwater lake. It will consist of: deployment and recovery of a range of moored equipment: traditional subsurface moorings, a surface meteorology buoy, and a large "horizontal" mooring, in both Y1 and Y2. Deployment of an autonomous glider. Microstructure (VMP) profiling transects. |
