Explanation of Science Party Requirements and Technician Requirements |
We will need a typical coring team of probably 6 members, plus an electronics/sonar tech for tending to acoustic releases, plus a tech dedicated to the core logger. The logging tech will typically come from the institution providing the logger. Remaining party members will be students and/or volunteers. |

|
Explain Instrumentation or Capability requirements that could affect choice of ship in scheduling. |
Radioisotope use will be the Cs-137 source for gamma ray attenuation measurement in the core logger.
Synthetic rope will be used instead of 9/16" trawl wire
