Summary of Field Work: |
This is a student focused cruise which will focus on the region at the mouth of San Diego Bay and involve about 5-7 CTD stations, collection of water samples and underway data collected including ADCP, underway T, S, depth and position. We hope to begin underway sampling in as shallow as 12-15 m of water depth while exiting the bay out to approximately 40 m water depth. We also plan to deploy and recover a surface drifter and a small mooring. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
We will need the CTD/Rosette, ADCP and deck gear needed to deploy/recover a small mooring and a surface drifter. |
