Summary of Field Work: |
|
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
Cruises in 2005 (deploy, recover) are off Woods Hole, Cruises in 2006 are off Grenada |
Summary of other requirements and comments: |
We need to avoid having the buoy deployed during hurricane season off Grenada, therefore we have requested a Jan 2006 deployment and June 2006 recovery. The Webb OBS group will be involved with several cruises each year for the OBSIP. This will complicate scheduling these cruises as personnel will otherwise not be available. Webb will be teaching Fall semester 2004 and 2006. We may try to use divers to study the sensor deployments, but haven't made formal plans yet. These will be short dives in water less than 100'. |
