Summary of Field Work: |
See original STR |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
Schedule cruises in austral summer, 2009 and 2010. The second cruise should be about 1 year after initial cruise, because of timing of the dispersion of tracer to be released during the first cruise.. |
Summary of other requirements and comments: |
Automated winch in 2009 for tracer injection and sampling. Sound source deployments in 2009. GC electron capture detector, 5 milicuries of Ni-63 in closed cell. Will load on and off with the rest of our gear at the start and end of each cruise. Secondary winch with 100 meters of nonconducting cable, for first cruise. We will work on arrangements. Sled deployment requires crane, CTD winch and secondary winch. Recovery will require these, plus two air-tuggers. (first cruise only.) |
