Description of Repeating cruise requirements: |
|
Justification/Explanation for ship choice, dates,
conflicts, number of days & multi-ship operations: |
The Walton Smith is the vessel of choice as it provides a good platform for dive operations directly off the vessel as well as small boat for operations at shallower sites. I have used the Smith for this cruise in the past.
Timing for the cruises is based on the December spawning of the target species and the need to monitor recruitment 1 month and 6 months after the spawning event. |
