Summary of Field Work: |
Upon arriving at DART Station 46412, the team will begin buoy operations. Buoy operations will consist of recovering the existing Bottom Pressure Recorder (BPR). Once the BPR has been secured, a new buoy will be deployed. The recovered BPR will then be deployed, if possible, if not a new BPR will be deployed. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
Deck Equipment: Crane or winch capable of lifing a 3500 lb buoy and 7000 lb anchor. Mooring wicnh or capstan. If ship is equipped with hull mounted ADCP would like current profile at station location. |
