Initial deployment Fall 2013 of Pioneer Array moorings; servicing of moorings after 6 months through end of first operational period (2015-2020). |

Global vessel with dynamic positioning, crane rated to 7000 lbs, A-frame to 10 tons. 1200 sq ft working deck area; 60,000 lb ship deck load; 9,000 m 9/16 th trawl wire, 12 days endurance, experience with mooring operations. |

Description of Repeating cruise requirements: |
Due to deck space, cruise will require two legs, 9 days and 12, with one port day between. Recover, redeploy, refresh power systems and sensors every 6 months. |

Spring and fall cruises to meet requirement to refresh power and sensors every 6 months, deal with biofouling. Deck payload when deploying and servicing moorings requires large UNOLS vessel, such as Knorr. |
