Description of Repeating cruise requirements: |
A sediment-trap mooring equipped with an automated gear plate is programmed to collect material for typically 6 month intervals. We set the motor to automatically rotate collection bottles prior to deployment. We need an approximation of when we can expect to retrieve the mooring so that we have the fewest possible gaps in our sampling. |
