Summary of Field Work: |
Deploy new benchmarks and collect pressure measurements on top of them using the JASON ROV to repeatedly deploy a mobile pressure recorder. Maintain the network of Bottom Pressure Recorders. This work will continue critical monitoring of magmatic activity and inflation at Axial Seamount to document volcanic re-inflation after its April 2011 eruption. |
