Description of Repeating cruise requirements: |
Spring and fall cruise are planned to cover the necessary site locations. There are spring cruises planned and in the same year an additional 10 day total cruise after September 30 of that year. |
Justification/Explanation for ship choice, dates,
conflicts, number of days & multi-ship operations: |
The R/V pelican has the appropriate size backdeck to operate the rather large Eagle Ray AUV with its required support equipment. It is a proen platform for this equipment and has produced excellent results with our team. |
