Summary of Field Work: |
We will maintain two mooring arrays, one on either side of Cape Farewell, Greenland, for four years. In addition, an array of sound sources will be deployed at the beginning of the project to track RAFOS floats that will be deployed during the subsequent mooring cruises. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
We need a large-class research vessel capable of deploying and servicing a large number of moorings, and capable of carrying out a large number of deep hydrographic casts. |
