Summary of Field Work: |
We will use a combination of towed imaging system (ISIIS) and MOCNESS nets to sample the fine-scale to sub-mesoscale plankton field to evaluate larval fish patchiness in response to physical and predator/prey interactions. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
We will need 0.322 and ~0.45 EM wire for towing large MOCNESS, ADCP, sufficient deck space/A-frame for side by side ISIIS and MOCNESS deployments. also user supplied fiber-optic winch. |
