Summary of Field Work: |
Cruise 1. We will conduct an active resistivity survey across Woolsey Mound, MC118. After confirming which of our predetermined target sites exhibits the greatest resistivity contrast, we will deploy a multisensor lander that includes a 500m resistivity array for a 6-month stay; Cruise 2. We will collect the lander examine the data, rebattery and refurbish instruments onsight and return the lander to an alternative site for another 6 months; Cruise 3. We will collect the lander and examine the data to determine if another deployment is necessary to create a time series, |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
We need a substantial A-Frame to deploy our fiber-optic cable on the Dynacon spool. We need access to the Research reserve at MC118, northern Gulf of Mexico. |
