Summary of Field Work: |
Work consists of collecting CTD-DO data, water samples, trawl samples, plankton samples. CTD-DO data and water samples are taken at all stations; water samples will be treated and filtered for chlorophyll onboard by each shift. There are 7 bongo and neuston net plankton stations and samples are preserved for transport back to the laboratory. There will be 26 trawl stations sampled; catches are sorted to species, measured for length and weighed. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
Work consists of collecting CTD data-(DO, Salinity, Temperature, Conductivity), water samples for chlorophyll analysis, trawl samples, and plankton samples. CTD drops and water sample collections are done at all stations and samples will be treated and processed onboard by each shift. Catches are sorted to species, measured for length, and weighed. |
