Repeating Cruise?
(within same year) |
Yes |
Interval: |
about 3 months |
# of Cruises: |

|
Description of Repeating cruise requirements: |
one long cruises (11 days) in January 2018 to study the seasonal cycle and variation of ocean CO2 and pH. 3 short cruises (3-day each) in April, Jun, and Aug. 2018 for sensor deployment and service and additional fieldwork. |
Justification/Explanation for ship choice, dates,
conflicts, number of days & multi-ship operations: |
We have a science team of 10 members including PIs, postdocs, students and technicians. We have worked with RV Pelican many times in the past. It fits our needs. |
