Important Info on Foreign Research Clearances
|
|
Are you or any member in your science party bringing in any science equipment items which are regulated for export by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)?
|
No |
If yes, have you applied for the necessary permits through your export control office?
|
No |
Questions about ITAR/EAR regulations?

Requested End Port |

None, |
Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia |
Explanation/justification for requested ports and dates of intermediate stops or to list additional port stops |
Our science program will include CTD-hydrocasts and in situ pump deployments while in transit between Tahiti and our study site or between our study site and Tahiti. We are open to alternate ports at one end or the other. If UNOLS chooses Valpariaso as the end port, then we would ask for the science team to be able to disembark at Easter Island to cut down on personnel costs and Days at Sea. |
