Summary of Field Work: |
Summary of Field Work: This focus of this project is on a bathypelagic scattering layer in the Southern California Bight. Four days of ship time will be used to deploy 5 moorings, conduct net tows on the scattering layer, and perform full-water column CTD casts. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
We will need a CTD rosette, a MOCNESS, sufficient deck space/A frame for mooring deployment, and an additional winch for mooring deployment. |
