Summary of Field Work: |
This grant proposal aims to add three seafloor CTD instruments to the OOI Cabled Array at Axial Seamount and keep them deployed for the next 5+ years between 2019-2024. One ship day with the Jason ROV is requested to be added to the annual OOI Cabled Array Operations & Maintenance cruises during each of 6 years (starting in summer 2019 and including summer of 2024, when the instruments will be recovered). The one day of ship & ROV time will cover the time necessary to turn-around the seafloor CTDs during the OOI O&M cruises each summer. |
