Summary of Field Work: |
N9 has several engineering buoys for deployment and recovery. These buoys will be testing new designs in mechanical and electrical configurations. These systems will be deployed and left for a couple of weeks and recovered on a second leg. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
N9 requests access to either R/V Point Sur or R/V Pelican for these deployments. These vessels are large enough to support lifting approximately 2,000 pounds of equipment at a time and have a large enough deck for staging pre-deployment. |
