Summary of Field Work: |
characterizing potential 3-D pathways of ODS to the coast, and quantifying mechanisms for enhanced interactions of ODS, we will conduct an extensive observational field program. Remotely sensed data, model output, and real-time data resources will also be used to guide ship-based surveys of plankton (both phyto-and zooplankton) structure and to determine locations for in situ mixing studies |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
We will need a CTD/rosette, ADCP, sufficient deck space/A-frame for mooring deployments/recoveries, Will mount a turbulence sensor on the bow of the vessel. |
