Summary of Field Work: |
This is mainly an equipment proposal to add instruments to the OOI Cabled Array at Axial Seamount, including one bottom-pressure tilt instrument and one CTD instrument. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
We request one day of ship and ROV time be added to the annual OOI Cabled Array Operations and Maintenance (O&M) cruise scheduled for summer of 2017 to accommodate deploying the bottom-pressure/tilt instrument. |
Summary of other requirements and comments: |
The NSF proposal science budget includes support costs for one day of extra time for the OOI Cable Array personnel on the O&M cruise. |

Explanation of Science Party Requirements and Technician Requirements |
No extra personnel are required beyond the regular OOI Cabled Array staff that will be on the O&M cruise. I have entered "1" in the science party boxes above, only because it would not accept "0". |
