Summary of Field Work: |
Geophysical mapping of the western end of the Cocos-Nazca spreading center in the equatorial Atlantic. We will collect multibeam bathymetry, magnetic, and gravity data. We will also complete 60 dredges. |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
We will need a multibeam echosounder, the MISO surface-towed magnetometer and the wire to tow it, a gravimeter from the shared equipment pool, and 3 dredges. |
