Summary of Field Work: |
Acoustic Data Collection using an over the stern array tethered to the ship. The ship operating area will be on and off the shelf bounded by a large box within the following locations: NW Corner 31° 30’ 00.00”, N 80° 00’ 00.00” W. Water Depth 300 m NE Corner 31° 30’ 00.00”, N 75° 00’ 00.00” W. Water depth 4075 m SW Corner 27° 00’ 00.00”, N 80° 75’ 00.00” W. Water depth 155 m SE Corner 27° 00’ 00.00”, N 75° 00’ 00.00” W. Water depth 3070 m |
Summary of Facility Requirements: |
We will need all METOC data. We will need a trawl winch for our acoustic receive array and A-frame for deployments and retrievals. We will also want CTD casts. |
Summary of other requirements and comments: |
We will need shore support for mobilization and demobilization days such as fork lifts. |
